The moment you leave Florence, Italy, you’ll find yourself deep in the Tuscan countryside. If you’re heading south, you’ll soon enter the storied wine region of Chianti Classico.
In this video, we visit the small Tuscan towns of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, along with Greve in Chianti, where we tried many wines from some of the region’s top winemakers at the annual Chianti Classico Expo. We also dug into the origins of the Chianti Classico Black Rooster logo, which may be inspired by a rather compelling (or disturbing?!) 13th-century legend.
